Mission Statement
The mission of the Wayne State University Physician Assistant Studies program is to develop proficient physician assistants centered in an urban environment who are dedicated to the practice of medicine and service to diverse communities.
Unique Program Features
1. Anatomy- dissection cadaver lab 2. Patient contact beginning first semester 3. Lectures provided by experts in their field 4. Clinical rotations in a variety of medical systems 5. Strong emphasis on physical exam skills 6. Use of Clinical skills center with standardized patients for assessments
