The Leadership Essentials Lab is a unique, immersive learning experience where attendees work side-by-side with experienced PA educators to build essential leadership skills. Join in activities designed to build your leadership muscles. Listen as experienced leaders share their leadership journeys. Network with experienced and emerging leaders to expand your leadership network.
Regardless of whether you are an aspiring leader, new to a leadership position, or a longtime leader looking to refresh their skills, the Leadership Essentials Lab will help you broaden and deepen your knowledge, skills, and abilities. Our team of skilled, experienced facilitators will lead participants through scientifically backed self-assessments, proven leadership and management principles, and tried and true methods for improving self-discovery, personal reflection, and professional growth.
The Leadership Essentials Lab will focus on three key areas of leadership:
LEADING YOURSELF:
Learn how to be more self-aware, understand your strengths and weaknesses, and know how others perceive your actions. Develop the mindset of a leader and learn how to prioritize and manage your time. Improve your personal communications to motivate others and get the resources you and your teams need.
LEADING OTHERS:
Understand how to build great teams with complementary strengths and then how to inspire and motivate that team to succeed. Learn what it takes to keep your team together and working smoothly and how to deal with conflict and interpersonal challenges.
LEADING ORGANIZATIONS:
Learn how to shift from personal and team leadership to broader, strategic, organizational leadership and leading through influence vertically and horizontally across multiple teams, departments, and disciplines. Learn how to modify your leadership style to fit different situations, how to focus on strategy instead of tactics, and how to articulate a compelling vision of the future you want to achieve.
